Destroy Your Jeans For Free

When I go into stores like Hollister and Abercrombie, and see destroyed jeans that are upwards of $80.00 to $100.00! Now why would you want to pay that much money for a pair of jeans when you can buy your favorite brand of jeans, and destroy them yourself?
To start this project, you will need a pail of jeans that fit you, bleach, an old toothbrush (that you aren't going to use again), scissors, and rough sandpaper.
Lay your jeans on a flat surface, make sure that everything around it is either covered, or will not be ruined if bleach gets on it. Pour a little bleach into a small container that you can dip the bristles of your toothbrush into.

Get your toothbrush saturated with bleach and then flick the bleach onto your jeans in any pattern you want. This will take the pigment out of the fabric strands, more bleach means the stains will be lighter, and less means they will be more faint. You can also take your brush and brush some bleach directly onto the fabric around seams, pockets, and knees to create a worn-in look!
Now you can cut slits into your jeans anywhere you'd like and roughen the edges with sandpaper. However, when you wash your jeans the edges will fray on their own very nicely! You can also use the sandpaper to create rough spots that aren't completely through the fabric in the case you don't want gaping holes in the jeans!

elements I have seen paint splatters, patches, embroidery, etc. These are all things that you can easily do yourself without paying an arm and a leg for someone to do it for you! Simply crag the old paint from the garage or some fabric scraps from grandma and go to work!! Use your fashion and style sense to re-create the looks that cost more than a tank of gas these days!
